1000 Calorie Challenge1000 Calorie Challenge is a workout plan for very fast weight loss created by two fitness experts, Joel Marion & Arnel Ricafranca.

The workout plan is based on having calorie burning days where you consume less calories than use, thus resulting in losing fat. The workouts included in this plan are all focused on burning 1,000 calories or more (thus the name of the program).

Additionally, the program includes diets for 1,000 calorie days, that is diets that create a deficit of 1,000 calories per day. This addition to the program creates a huge calorie burn out.

However, it’s only natural that it’s hard to burn so many calories a day. Most people wouldn’t be able to do it, so rather than making you lose 1,000 calories immediately, the program makes you do it progressively. Being able to lose that many calories is a shape you’re looking to get into with this program.

The workouts work by increasing 4 elements – reps, resistance (weight), rest (between sets) and rounds. By starting slow and increasing these elements you’re supposed to reach the 1,000 burned calories per workout in 4 weeks.

The diet days are mixed up with “cheat days” and remove additional calories without slowing down your metabolism.
