For example, you might be starting upon your weight loss routine, or starting exercising to reduce your stress levels (yes, exercising helps you reduce your stress). #1) Consult your physician or trainer: Yes, this is necessary. Before you beginning your gym membership or starting weight lifting, its important that you consult your physician and take his advice. Might sound an hindrance to your newly found fitness enthusiasm but precaution is better than cure. Let your physician inspect you and provide you with a clear green signal.

#2) Enjoy It: When we say that we mean that your exercise schedule should not be like your work routine, boring and hectic. It should be like a break, short and enjoyable. Engage in the activity you like. So, if you enjoy swimming then do that as an exercise routine. Learn some new tricks that make you flex your muscles more. Similarly, bicycling or going for jogging in the morning with a new partner will make it really more attractive and pleasant experience. Remember, weight lifting is not the only form of exercise unless you are looking for muscle building. Engaging in any kind of sports that makes you perspire and your muscles work will help your body stay much fitter and better.

#3) Don’t try to be brave: Just note down this key point and you will definitely save on some injuries. If you have gone for your workouts or exercises and find yourself ailing over some muscle pain or joints pain, don’t ignore it. Most of the people experience some kind of pain when they start exercising. A part of it is natural as your muscles start adjusting but that is a very fine threshold. If the pain seems to go past that threshold then get a checkup. You might have strained some muscle, or you might be suffering from something. To ignore this kind of issue would be foolish and you might be preparing yourself for some bigger injury.
